PDF Page Organizer
Reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages visually in your browser and save the result, with no upload.
- Runs in your browser, files never leave your device
- Free, open source, no account, no ads
- Works offline after the first visit
Organize the pages of a PDF
Drop a PDF here or choose a PDF
Every page appears as a thumbnail you can drag, rotate or delete. Then save a new PDF. The file is never uploaded: it is read and rewritten on this device.
Drag a card to move it, or use its arrow buttons. Keyboard: arrow keys move between pages, R rotates right (Shift+R left), Delete removes or restores, Alt+arrows move the page, Ctrl+Z undoes.
How it works
- Open one PDF. Drop it on the page or pick it. Your browser draws a thumbnail of every page; nothing is sent anywhere.
- Arrange the pages. Drag cards or use the arrow buttons to reorder, rotate pages a quarter turn at a time, and delete the ones you do not need. Undo steps back through every change.
- Save the new PDF. A fresh file named yourfile_organized.pdf is built on your device and downloaded. The original file is left untouched.
Questions, answered
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. PDF Page Organizer runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is read into memory on your device, the thumbnails are drawn and the new file is written with JavaScript, and nothing is sent to a server. You can disconnect from the internet and it keeps working.
Is it really free? Are there page or file limits?
Yes, it is free and open source under the MIT license, with no account, no ads and no hourly or page limits. Large files are only limited by your device's memory; thumbnails are drawn lazily as you scroll, so a 200 page document stays responsive. If it saves you a paid subscription, you can say thanks on Ko-fi.
Does rotating or deleting pages reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are into a new PDF, so text stays selectable and images are not recompressed. Rotation is stored as a page setting added to any rotation the page already had, and deleted pages are simply left out.
Can it open password protected PDFs?
Not at the moment. Encrypted or password protected PDFs show a clear message instead of a broken result. Remove the password in the app that created the file, then open it here. The tool also does not edit page content, add text or merge several files.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the page is cached by a service worker, so it loads without a connection. You can also install it from your browser's menu as an app.
Was this written by AI?
Yes. PDF Page Organizer was generated by Claude Code from a written specification inside an automated pipeline, with a test suite that runs in a real browser. The full source is on GitHub, so you can read every line before you trust it with your files.
Built by one person, given away for free
PDF Page Organizer is a free alternative to paid tools like Sejda and iLovePDF Organize PDF. If it earns a place in your bookmarks, a coffee keeps the updates coming.
